The story of our new model begins with an observation: the need to create a comfortable, practical and lightweight model, an everyday essential.
Inspired by the moon and weightlessness but connected to the earth, KOSMIK is made from BLOOM algae, an innovative and sustainable material. It transports you and accompanies you from the balcony to the garden, from nature to the seaside, filling you with wonder.

What is BLOOM ?
Climate change, rising CO2 levels and water pollution are causing harmful algal blooms that have a negative impact on our environment and society.
That is why an American engineer and scientist researched and developed an extrusion process for algae (extrusion is a technique for transforming materials using a continuous manufacturing process) and a harvesting and drying technology to then create a resin that can be used in the manufacture of various products.
The result is an innovative material made from algae, which is then mixed with EVA, the main component of KOSMIK.

How is BLOOM manufactured?
Seawater is pumped, filtered and cleaned of algae. The algae is collected to be dried, then crushed and mixed with EVA to form the material that will make up our footwear: the KOSMIK clog.
The use of seaweed in this new clog allows us to reduce the use of synthetic material (EVA) and helps to clean up the oceans by combating the proliferation of toxic algae that disrupt the aquatic ecosystem.
This choice is part of our broader commitment as a brand to take eco-responsible action at our level. Because we believe that a better world starts with good footwear!
The creation of our KOSMIK model
A 100% Rouchette model created in France at our premises! Our teams work on developing a product, from concept to store release. These meticulous stages of analysis, research, creation and development give rise to a unique model, the result of two years of work.
This EVA model is both unisex and intergenerational. KOSMIK is designed for regular use, whether for nature lovers, garden adventurers, seaside holidaymakers or swimming pool enthusiasts. For those lucky enough to have a veranda or those who want to be comfortable even at home, the KOSMIK model will be the perfect companion.

What is EVA light +?
EVA is the main material used in KOSMIK.
EVA is an elastomeric polymer with ‘elastic’ properties that offers the following advantages: flexibility, resistance and lightness.
EVA light + is an even more resistant and lighter blend than EVA because it is composed of millions of air bubbles that guarantee both flexibility and cushioning when walking, thus providing greater comfort.
- PRACTICAL: Easy to put on, quick to take off. This new EVA clog is easy to care for, simply rinse with clean water to wash it and it dries very quickly.
- COMFORTABLE: Thanks to EVA light + technology, this model contains millions of air bubbles for better cushioning and comfort when walking.
