Jeanne et Julia COURTOIS, Twins for Transat

The TWINS to take on the Transat Jacques Vabre

The twins from Brest, Jeanne and Julia, have been doing sports together for many years and have set themselves a new challenge: the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021 in a Class 40. Already accustomed to sporting competitions, together they have completed 5 ironmans, 3 ultratrails and are used to sailing.

It was their victory in the "CAP pour elle" programme that prompted them to take up the challenge of the Transat Jacques Vabre so quickly. They have the support of Alexia Barrier and Clarisse Crémer, both sailors and participants in the last Vendée Globe, who will be their godmothers for this 15th edition.

A challenge full of meaning

Jeanne and Julia will be sailing in the colours of the Fifty Fifty association, which aims to promote gender equality in sport, to raise awareness and to carry out reconstruction and repair programmes for women and children, victims and witnesses of violence, by combining sport and a medical approach.

These are the values of unity, concrete action and innovation of the association that Jeanne and Julia carry through these colours. So when Jeanne and Julia contacted us to ask us to accompany them in this new challenge and this meaningful adventure, we did not hesitate! Sharing these values of sport, our collaboration seemed logical.

They will leave with our SKIPPER boots for this new adventure at sea, this 15th edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre!
